Soy Wax Candle

Soy wax is a natural plant-based wax, well-known for its clean burning performance and low smoke emission. It is highly versatile and suitable for:

  • Scented Candles: Blends easily with fragrance oils to deliver a rich and long-lasting aroma.

  • Smoke-Free Candles: Produces minimal smoke, making it eco-friendly and safe for indoor use.

  • Container Candles: Simple to pour into glass or metal jars, creating diverse shapes and styles.

  • Handmade Candles: Easy to work with, making it perfect for both DIY beginners and professionals.

How to Use Soy Wax Prepare Materials

    • Weigh the required amount of wax (500g / 1kg).

    • Prepare a melting pot, thermometer, fragrance oils (optional), and candle containers or molds.

  1. Melt the Wax

    • Place the wax in a double boiler or melting pot.

    • Heat gently to 70–80°C (160–175°F) until fully melted.

    • Stir occasionally for even melting.

  2. Add Fragrance or Color (Optional)

    • Let the melted wax cool to about 60–65°C (140–150°F).

    • Add fragrance oil (recommended 6–10% of total wax weight).

    • Add candle dye or pigments if desired, then stir well.

  3. Prepare the Wick & Container

    • Fix the wick in the center of your container or mold.

    • Use a wick holder or stick to keep it straight.

  4. Pour the Wax

    • Slowly pour the melted wax into the container.

    • Avoid bubbles and leave a little space at the top.

  5. Cooling & Finishing

    • Allow the candle to cool and harden naturally at room temperature.

    • Trim the wick to about 5–7mm before lighting.

Tips:

  • Avoid overheating the wax to prevent burning smell.

  • For a stronger scent throw, use high-quality fragrance oils.

  • Store leftover wax in a cool, dry place for future use.
